Donovan Seeber, Vice President
of Corporate Safety at Pasadena- headquartered ACCO Engineered Systems, said that moving to online- only education and training represented a “major pivot for our company” and forced him to rethink his attitude about the value of virtual education. “I used to be one of those people that said ‘there is no substitute for instructor-led in person training,’” he said. “But this forced us to adapt because we still have to get training done. My experience has been absolutely positive. Tis new (Zoom) platform, this new venue makes training available to so many more people since they don’t have to travel, so it’s that much easier from a logistical standpoint.” As Vice Chair of AGC’s Safety

joined AGC of California in April as the Training & Education Coordinator working with the Workforce Development team. She comes to AGC with a background in customer service, training and education having worked as a corporate trainer for Franklin Templeton Investments for 10 years. Bilo has a Bachelor’s degree
in psychology from Ohio State University. In her role with AGC, she is responsible for supporting the Training & Education Department, Diversity & Inclusion Council, Small Business Council and more.
