EXPANSION Winsupply opens Oklahoma distribution center
Winsupply Inc., Dayton, Ohio, hosted a grand opening for its sixth regional distribution center in Moore, Oklahoma, June 8. Te Moore RDC is about 320,000 square feet and is located at 9440 S I-35 Service Road, just south of Oklahoma City. “Our sixth RDC will allow us to serve our local companies in the south-central part of
the U.S. with one-day service,” says Eric Roush, Winsupply vice president of supply chain. “When completed, the new RDC will provide primary service to about 130 local compa- nies in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.” Tis newest RDC continues to expand the infrastructure and support to Winsupply
Local Company entrepreneurs, creating up to 65 new jobs in the Oklahoma City area. Te Oklahoma City RDC will join the other five Winsupply RDCs located in Dayton; Denver; Middletown, Connecticut; Richmond, Virginia; and Jacksonville, Florida.
GRANTS Stihl to provide $120,000 in grants to state parks
Stihl Inc., Virginia Beach, Virginia, will provide a $20,000 grant to a U.S. state park in each of the coun- try’s six regions throughout 2022, totaling $120,000. Te grants are a part of Stihl’s expansion of its Hearts of Stihl program, an initiative to care for the envi- ronment through the preservation of America’s state parks.
Inspired by the staff of America’s State Parks, the mission of Hearts of Stihl is to help those people and programs that are caring for the parks and preserve them for the enjoy- ment of all.
