Rebeccah Hicks Brodie Wingert


OMB in Springfield promoted Rebeccah Hicks and Brodie Wingert to loan officers. Hicks joined OMB in 2021 and has more than three years of banking experience. Wingert joined the bank in 2022 and has more than three years of banking experience.


Hicks and Wingert participated in OMB’s loan officer trainee program, which provides young professionals interested in commercial lending with career and organizational development opportunities.


Jim Barnett Jr.


Jim Barnett Jr., chairman of the board of directors of Peoples Bank in Cuba, celebrated his 50th anniversary with the bank in February. Barnett joined the bank in 1973 and served as president until his election to chairman in 1994. Before joining Peoples Bank, he worked at Harris Trust Co. in Chicago and Mercantile Trust in St. Louis. “It’s been a great 50 years, as the bank has provided a platform to be able to help a lot of


people achieve their goals,” Barnett said. “I look back at some of our major employers in Cuba and am proud to have been able to help them when they started out, supported them as they grew and now appreciate all they are contributing to our community. It has been a good ride, and I look forward to many more years of working with our customers.”

She joined the bank in 2003 as a teller, moved to loan processor in 2004 and was promoted to senior loan documenting manager in 2012.
