ASSOCIATION
Te coronavirus outbreak is top of mind for everyone. Preparations for our 2020 NPM-hosted events in July—our convention and institutes —are continuing. Te health and safety of our members is always our highest priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and exploring options and will update you as needed.
Convention pricing, discounts
You may have missed the March 6 Early Bird deadline for the 43rd NPM convention in Louisville, Kentucky, but there are still options to sign up and save.
Advance registration for the event, July 7-10, runs through June 5, but hotel preferences fill up fast. Discounts are still available for clergy/ musician duo, seminarian, religious in formation and youth (NPM membership required).

Fostering the Art! supports funding, friendship
NPM’s signature convention fund-raiser, Fostering the Art! will mark its fourth year when we gather in Louisville this summer. Te event will be held Tuesday, July 7, in the newly renovated Waterford Room on the 25th floor of Te Galt House. Half of the $150 ticket is tax deductible and directly benefits NPM. Reserve your place with convention registration or contact the NPM office at (240) 247-3000.
Chapter baskets to earn share of auction proceeds
Te silent auction in Louisville will include a display of chapter-only raffle baskets. Proceeds from every chapter-donated basket will be split between the national association and the chapter.
Has your chapter started planning? Tink locally. What is your area known for? Do you have outstanding wineries? Special foods/treats? Sports teams? For more information, contact Joanne Bokor:

Forum provides feedback for new composers
Aspiring composers have an opportunity to have their work evaluated and showcased at the Louisville convention. Te Composers Forum & Competition is a pre-convention event held the afternoon of Monday, July 6. Te forum recognizes original unpublished works for liturgy.
