Highlights of Fall 2020 Stated Meeting of Mississippi Valley Presbytery
The Fall Stated Meeting of MVP was held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the meeting was moved from Pottsville, Arkansas, to Providence Reformed Church in Bartlett, Tennessee, it was shortened to a one-day meeting, and virtual partici- pation was allowed via Zoom.

• Upon a second reading and vote, passed a change in rules of presbytery in how session records will be handled in future meetings • Received greetings from Rev. Steven Carr, a pastor in the Reformed Church in the United States (RCUS) general fund was postponed until the 2021 Spring Meeting of presbytery
Arkansas, and Murray, Kentucky; the Redeemer mission in Murray has just celebrated the one year anniversary of moving into its new building
• Passed a motion stating that all future recommendations to the ONA Assessment Center by the ONA Committee of MVP must Reformed Episcopal Church
• Received retired pastor Rev. David Dively as a member of presbytery, pending the transfer of his credentials from the Presbyte- rian Church in America
• Extended the status of Mr. Stephen Ewing as a Student of Theology • Approved the nomination of Mr. Paul Walley, an elder at the Gospel of Grace Church, as chair of the Stewardship Committee; Mr. Walley will serve out the remainder of Mr. Mike Thomason’s term, as Mr. Thomason requested to step down due to health concerns
• Granted honorably retired status to Rev. Gary Clowers • Approved the request by the Pottsville ARP Church (Pottsville, Arkansas) to host the Fall 2022 meeting of MVP • Mr. John Scott, an elder at the Brighton ARP Church, was elected to be Moderator of Presbytery for the upcoming year.

Rev. Luke Grigsby was ordained November 8 at - son Vance (Ebenezer ARP Elder), Rev. Barry Dagen- - ter), Rev. Bob Elliott (Edgemoor), and Greg Delleny (Moderator of Catawba).
