DISCLOSURE POLICY
It is the policy of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, as a Society accredited by the ACCME, to adhere to the ACCME Accreditation Criteria; the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support: Standards to Ensure Independence in CME Activities; the ACCME Policies and Definitions; and American Medical Association (AMA) Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA) and credit system as well as other regulations and laws as they relate to the provision of CME. SCCT requires everyone in a position to control the content of an educational activity to disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest. This is required during the planning process to ensure resolution of any identified conflicts well in advance of the educational activity. The ACCME defines “relevant financial relationships” as financial relationships in any amount, occurring within the past 12 months, including financial relationships of a spouse or life partner, which could create a conflict of interest. SCCT discloses support of the educational activity through grants or in-kind support, as well as the discussion of unlabeled or unapproved use of any drug, device, or procedure prior to the educational activity.
NOTE: CME and CE credit is preliminary and may increase or decrease incrementally as the program schedule evolves.
