NEW THIS YEAR! FELLOWS AND RESIDENTS BOOT CAMP!


Following the successful 2016 Pre-Program session specifically for fellows and residents interested in learning more about cardiovascular CT, SCCT2017 is now offering two “Boot Camp” sessions as part of the regular SCCT2017 program!


Designed by members of the SCCT2017 Program Committee with input from the Fellows and Residents in Training (FiRST) Committee, these sessions will cover the clinical aspects of cardiovascular CT, including appropriate indications and applications of this powerful technology, as well as highlight potential career paths in cardiovascular CT in both private practice and academia. All radiology residents and cardiology fellows who are planning on attending SCCT2017 are encouraged to attend.

SCCT2017 OPENING RECEPTION!


Throughout the meeting you will have many opportunities to see the new and exciting initiatives, science, and research from the United Kingdom International Regional Committee (IRC). This will include influential UK CT research such as SCOTHEART presented by Professor David Newby, MD, PhD, national initiatives on CT dose reduction, and the new NICE Guidelines that recommend CTCA as the first line investigation for all patients with stable chest pain.
