Dec. 5 –9 Las Vegas, Nevada

Program Offers Growth, Networking & Fun

The Irrigation Association is heading to Las Vegas for its 2016 Irrigation Show and Educa- tion Conference, Dec. 5 – 9.

An exciting new part to this year’s show is the unveiling of a 2016 co-location with the National Ground Water Association’s Groundwater Week.

The combination of shows will create the largest irrigation show ever — 9,000 attendees along with 600 exhibitors. The show floor will be open to both NGWA and IA registrants. Both groups will also co-host an opening reception, keynote presentation and Drought Summit.

The joint keynote address will be held the morning of Dec. 7, with Peter McCornick, PhD, PE, D.WRE, of the International Water Management Institute as the keynote speaker.

The Irrigation Show is the place to be to learn about new technologies. On the show floor Dec. 7 and 8, attendees will be able to browse, touch and talk to the presenters of the new product contest entries. These products are the hottest innovations of the industry and spotlight new technologies and products introduced over the last year. The product categories include agriculture, landscape and golf, lighting, rainwater catchment and other specialty products.

And because education at the Irrigation Show is second to none, the technical program will span from Dec. 6 – 8. Innovative ideas in both the landscape and agricultural areas will be presented by leading industry researchers.

Agriculture sessions will focus on applications of drip irrigation, center pivot and general information, irrigation management and using sensor technology. Landscape topics will include design and evaluation, controller and sensor technology, irrigation management and program case studies. One-hour irrigation seminars will also be offered. All sessions will offer CEU credits.

Attendees can take their careers to the next level by taking advantage of the education courses and certification exams offered throughout the week. Choose from agriculture irrigation, landscape and golf as well as business classes. There is an additional registration fee associated with these classes.
