When the phone rings at midnight, who do you want to answer the call? The response timing and action taken at such moments can limit or extend the damage caused by the urgent matter at hand. Whether it is a broken pipe with water gushing everywhere, a tree falling in a windstorm or a power outage caused by utility workers, the first few decisions can make or break the effectiveness of the response. Key elements will be discussed including, what types of qualities to look for in a vendor, which vendors to include, and of course, the legal implications of action—or inaction—taken when that midnight call comes to your phone.
