Please join us in congratulating Mary Morrison Bennett, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S™ (TX), and Kara Carnes-Holt, PhD, LPC, RPT-S™ (CO), on their election to the Board of Directors. They will each begin their three-year terms this October.
We also welcome Parie Faridnia, PsyD, LP, RPT-S™ (CA), who was PhD, LPC-S, LMFT, RPT-S™ (LA). Dr. Fazio- responsibilities at her university. We are deeply grateful for her dedicated service and many contributions to APT.

As Julie Nash, PhD, RPT-S™, and Kim Vander Dussen, PhD, RPT-S™, conclude their Board terms this October, we thank them for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to APT. Their service has strengthened the Association and advanced the profession of play therapy, and we wish them all the best.
Leadership Academy APT is pleased to welcome Alicia Donovan, MA, LPC, NCC, RPT-S™ who succeeded Andrea Walker, MSW, LCSW, LICSW, RPT-S™ as Chair of the Leadership Academy Committee.
The committee plays an important role in strengthening the future of
curriculum, while also identifying emerging leaders within the play therapy community.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Andrea and we are excited to welcome Alicia into this role and look forward to the continued impact of the Leadership Academy.
