A Splash of Color top seller brings $14,250


The Splash of Color Boer goat produc- tion sale was held March 8 in Cookeville, Tenn. The unofficial average for the sale was $3,150 per lot.


The high-seller was Lot 6, a doe con-


signed by Yoakum Livestock of Ohio. SLBNK Yoakums Bet It All sold for $14,250 to Mar Ruel P. Sumabat of the Philippines. The high-selling buck was Lot 46, con- signed by Roger McSwain of RM Ranch in North Carolina. The doe’s new home is with Zack Lumpkin and Tesha Lumpkin in Dal- ton, Ga.


The weekend’s activities began Friday night with the Premier Preview Sale. The high-seller was consigned by Maddie and Trevor Clemens of MADI-TRV Boer Goats in Oklahoma and the buyer was Jason and Sandy Dagger of Ohio.
