Te closing session for CONSTRUCT

2025 featured a panel discussion on upcoming election predictions, political analysis, incoming laws and regulations impacting California contractors. Moder- ated by AGC of California advocate Felipe Fuentes, CEO of Pacific Coast Capitol Advisors Inc., the session featured insights from panelists Jon Switalski, executive director of Rebuild Together Partnership, Leah Pilconis, general counsel for AGC of America, and Michael Quigley, executive director of California Alliance for Jobs.

Opportunity to Learn, Grow and Connect CONSTRUCT 2025 offered ample oppor- tunities for participants to learn and con- nect across all generations and industry roles and sectors. In addition to the owner showcase

sessions, there were over a dozen ed- ucational sessions over three days that provided student and general attendees valuable information on everything from building a future-ready workforce - what motivates Gen Z, to leadership in strategic decision making, retention strategies in a changing California, and more. Several social and networking events

provided additional opportunities to connect. These included a welcome reception, Expo with over two dozen exhibitors, Tursday Night Bash complete with Karaoke and Friday golf. Plans are already underway for CONSTRUCT 2026, slated for October 6-9, 2026 again at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells. Washington, D.C. noted that the award is one of the highest honors a chapter can receive: “It recognizes chapters that demonstrate outstanding leadership, inno- vative programming, strong membership growth and meaningful impact on the construction industry.” 2025 AGC of California President Pat Kelly commented, “I am incredibly proud

of the work the AGC of California members and staff do to drive opportunities to build and strengthen California. It is very exciting to be recognized for our amazing work. Great job and congratulations to the AGC of California!”
