drew top construction industry leaders from across California as well as 90 stu- dents representing all 13 AGC of California student chapters. Tey participated in a variety of business, educational and net- working sessions and meetings and spent time with industry solution providers and vendors at the related Construction Expo. One of the highlights of this year’s
conference programming was the focus on fostering collaboration between own- ers and contractors, as highlighted by 2025 President Pat Kelly in the welcome session. “Strengthening collaboration be- tween owners and contractors continues to be a central part of our program this

Dynamic General Session Speakers
Opening session speaker James Spellos, president of Meeting U., offered a thought-provoking keynote address that put the spotlight on the latest emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intel- ligence (AI). Drawing on his 25 years of experience helping professionals embrace technology, Spellos illustrated a variety of ways that construction companies can use AI to boost productivity, reduce risk and build stronger, more efficient organizations. During the October 8 general session,
