or has organized women’s meetings (circles, gatherings, squares, etc.), join one or if you already attend one, encourage any women in your church who don’t attend those types of meetings to go with you. And if your church does not have anything like that, consider starting one. When your Presbyterial has a meeting or a retreat–go to it! I have always found that the more you “put” into something, the more you get out of it. There are many projects that you could help with, such as Operation Christmas Child boxes, the collection of clothing or toiletries, or non-per- ishable food for local ministries that help the homeless. Such places are always looking for volunteers and donations–help them! Don’t be afraid to “step out of your comfort zone” in 2026! Make it a year to remember!

Remember, each person you meet in life crosses your path for a reason. This is not our home and as C.S. Lewis said, “All that is not eternal is eternally useless.” Realizing that life on earth is just a temporary assignment should radically alter our values. We were created for something much, much better, and we should be sharing the message of the Good News everywhere we go. One of my Egyptian students was attending one of our ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. When I called the

Instructor after class that evening to check on how things went in my absence, he told me that the Egyptian ( a Muslim) was very interested in the Bible verse they were discussing and asking, “Why is the Bible referred to as the Good News?” Wow! What a great question, and exciting, especially considering the person who was asking. In 1 Peter 3:15, it says, “but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope.”

My prayer is to have a real burden for souls, and share the GOOD NEWS each and every day! There is a dying world

all around us, and we have the greatest hope and answer of all. Let’s be sure to share it! CHALLENGE: MAKE A MARK! LEAVE A DENT WHERE YOU’RE SENT!
