What makes your community a great place to live? There are spectacular views overlooking Henderson Bay and on to Mt. Rainier. Nearby Gig Harbor is growing fast and that growth brings ongoing access to new opportunities and lots of services, and
What is special about your community? The diversity of the membership both culturally and architecturally. Breathtaking and ever changing views of Henderson Bay and Mt. Rainier along with beach access.
What challenges do you face now? There has been an increase in turnover, so we have more new owners. This is due primarily to incorporate our new neighbors and help them feel at home in their new community. We are also embarking on updating our governing documents. We are across the Narrows Bridge from I-5 so the bridge toll is a consideration.
What is your community’s greatest success? We are fortunate to have a hard-working Board that is very committed to positive and continued development of the Association.
Through our work to maintain a welcoming atmosphere, our community has attracted many new homeowners who offer the potential of reshaping the future of the association.
What methods does your community use to communicate with owners? We use email to communicate with most of our with the same information that we send by email. We have set up unofficial messages. We also hold special meetings as needed as well as our Annual meeting.
How does your community foster resident participation? We hold access or volunteer to work on beautification of the entrances. We may be going through a challenging time and need help with chores such as mowing the lawn, etc.
Does your community hold any social events? If so, what are they? Annual picnic.
