The Management Trust - CDC is pleased to announce the addition of three valuable new team members.

Linda Reoh, Community Association Manager - Kirkland Office—joined the Management Trust - CDC team in late November 2013. Linda is a Washington native and comes to The Trust with nearly 30 years of experience in managing multi-family, single family and condominium communities. She has extensive knowledge of supervising and training employees, overseeing

construction defects and has been a facilities manager for high-rise developments in the Seattle area. She is a people person who values her client and vendor relationships. Her excellent leadership skills are what have made her successful throughout the years. Her spare time is spent enjoying her love of interior design, travelling and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also a huge Seahawks fan.

Jill Wiedemann, Community Association Manager - Kirkland Office—joined The Management Trust - CDC team in November 2013 as a community association manager. Jill brings over 20 years of experience managing HOAs and COAs as a community association manager and facility manager. She specializes in building strong communities with communication to homeowners

and vendors. Jill is well adept at bringing construction and repair projects to completion. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, reading, camping, hiking, skiing and travelling.

Steve Conelley, Community Association Manager - Kirkland Office—joined The Management Trust - CDC team in October 2013. After studies in architecture, journalism and marketing, he worked as a real estate broker, builder and condominium developer in Washington DC. His marketing experience led to founding an advertising and public relations firm and publishing a community

newspaper. After selling the agency and paper, he relocated to the Northwest to pursue architecture and entrepreneurial opportunities. He has served as a principal in two mid-sized architectural firms, commercial and residential real estate broker, and partner in an ESOP digital imaging firm. Steve’s condo experience spans design, construction, conversion, general contracting, property management, association management, sales, and board membership in condos, coops and HOAs. Steve’s interests include jazz, current affairs, reading, backpacking, canoeing and kayaking.

Phillips Real Estate Services is pleased to announce that Melissa Musser has accepted the leadership role of Director of the Community Association Group. Phillips identified Melissa as a very bright, intelligent and energetic leader in the association management community when they first met her over three years

ago. Melissa comes to Phillips with the education, experience and leadership abilities needed to guide their team. Previously, she held positions as a community association portfolio manager, as well as oversight of operations of the division, as a legal assistant specializing in association law at the esteemed lay offices of Leahy, McLean and Fjelstad, in a corporate role at Nordstrom and currently as an elected Councilmember for the City of Des Moines. They are confident the addition of her skill set to their leadership team will add value to the ongoing quality management Phillips provides to clients. Welcome Melissa!

~ Signature Landscape Services would like

to welcome Matt Swenson to the team as an Enhancements Manager at their South Branch. Matt is a Northwest native born and raised in Olympia. He has seven years in the landscape contracting industry. Matt served as Account Manager in the commercial sector for four years. His work included the oversight of commercial

projects consisting of business parks, industrial sites and corporate headquarters throughout South Puget Sound region. He was also involved in managing landscape crews and assuring the provision of quality-driven services. “Matt is a seasoned professional

in

the landscape management specialty and brings a toolbox full of resources to the company,” noted Operations Manager Will Bailey, LIC Technician/Manager. “We are happy to have him join the team.”

Sean Halas, a 20+ year veteran in the landscape industry, is expanding his role with Plantscapes, Inc. from overseeing the IPM (Integrated Pest Management) sound practices into business development. He will be connecting with businesses and properties interested in commercial landscape maintenance.

Gary A. Linden joined the Plantscapes team last summer with 23 years in design-build and landscape maintenance. He is connecting with managers committed to cost effective innovative approaches which will result in sustainable, beautiful landscapes to both attract and retain tenants/owners.

For their renovation of the United States Coast Guard Pier 36 on Elliot Bay, Plantscapes, Inc. received an Award of Merit in 2013 from WALP (the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals).

Additionally, WALP awarded Plantscapes, Inc. a Grand Award for installing a “living wall” in the Science Wing of the Bertschi School, the first building in the world built to the Living Building Challenge 2.0 standard. The 2,172 plants that comprise the interior wall recycle gray water and captured rainwater. WALP’s Northwest Landscape Professional magazine states that

this is “yet another award-

winning project that demonstrates the firm’s ongoing record of outstanding and creative service.”
