Urban Farming:
Cows and Goats and Chickens, Oh My!

As environmental consciousness grows along with focus on higher density urbanization, more and more communities look towards urban farming as an amenity. This can be in the form of community gardens or pea patches, individual large gardens on unit lots or, in larger communities, permitting the raising of livestock. Community associations face a unique mix of challenges when it comes to urban farming including, but not limited to, what do the homeowners want, what can they allow and what are the risks to the association as a whole?
