Action Required: Update your Membership Profile Today!
Don’t miss out on referrals and networking – update your listing and be included in the Find a Play Therapist directory today! If you have not logged on, and updated your privacy settings— your listing is not visible. When APT migrated to the new system – ALL member records were automatically set to “Private,” which allows YOU to control what information is visible to members and the general public.
Updating your settings today will allow you to: • Access the Forum for clinical discussions • Have a visible listing on the Find a Play Therapist Directory • Check the renewal status of your Membership or Credential
• Receive messages from other members • Add a profile picture and upload photo albums of your play room
To change your Privacy settings: • Log into your member profile on the APT website • Select Manage Profile (right side), Edit Bio (under Information & Settings)
• For each profile field, select a setting (Public, Members Only or Private)
To access Community Forums (previously APT Listserve) Includes searchable topics, ability to attach documents, and an easy-to-read daily digest (currently called APT Newsletter). • Log into your member profile on the APT website (Forums are only accessible once logged in) • Under the Membership header, select Community Forums • Choose either: – Clinical Discussion to view and select from existing “TOPICS”
– New Topic (top) to begin a new discussion – Forum Actions to subscribe to instant updates or a daily digest Only you can activate your member benefits! For
questions or problems with the site or your membership record, call the APT office. We are happy to help!
