Erin Dugan

Congratulations to Scott Riviere (LA) and Pam Dyson (TX) who were re-elected, and to Erin Dugan (LA) newly elected to the APT board of directors. Riviere, Dyson and Dugan will serve three-year terms starting October 14, 2017. The slate of candidates was designed by the 11-member Nominations Committee, chaired by retiring Director Rick Gaskill who will conclude his second 3-year term this October. The Board scans and identifies change drivers in the mental health environment, approves the ends that the organization will achieve, and monitors organizational performance.

LeAnne Steen, Ph.D., LPC-S, RPT-S (LA) began serving a one-year term as chair the University Education Committee, which supervises our Approved Centers of Play Therapy Education and History Speaks programs.

Robert Jason Grant, Ed.D., LPC, NCC, CAS, RPT-S (MO) will begin serving a two-year term as chair of the Conference Program committee, which annually reviews conference program proposals.

A special thank you to Kathrin Hartmann, , Ph.D., RPT-S (VA) as past chair of the University Education Committee, and Kim VanderDussen, Psy.D., RPT-S (CA) as past chair of the Conference Program Committee for their continued efforts in supporting the Association and its programs.
