Ruth Neuner


Ruth began employment with Missouri Independent Bank (now Midwest Independent Bank) in February 1994 in the loan department. She worked in the safekeeping area of the department until 2000. Ruth transferred to the bank operations department where her responsibilities included international wires, currency orders, federal funds, as well as foreign cash letters. Ruth transitioned


from full-time to part-time in March of 2018. Today, she is an Operations Support Specialist I where her primary responsibilities include serving as a back-up to operations staff, assisting with administrative tasks, and assisting staff/supervisors in achieving departmental projects.


Jerome “Jerry” Welsch


Jerry manages the Municipal Bond Trading and Underwriting, both competitive and negotiated, for First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc. His main duties include purchasing municipal bonds in the primary and secondary market for the sales staff.


Prior to joining the firm in 1994, Jerry worked at Centerre Bank, Boatman’s Bank, and then


Mercantile Bank where he managed the municipal desk for three years.


His thirty-one years of experience assists the team in maximizing yield opportunity for our customers while minimizing risk to the firm.


Welsch graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a Finance Degree. He also graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School in Washington state.
