State Highlights
• Maryland Christian school students were among the 1300+ attendees at the annual Maryland Advocacy Day at the Capitol in Annapolis in support of school choice on March 2. Students were inspired by a rally at which Governor Larry Hogan thanked them for their efforts. They visited legislators, witnessed the General Assembly in session, and helped to advance school choice in their state.
• New York ACSI-member schools joined together in Albany, where they met with public policy leaders and participated in strategy to advance Christian schooling in New York.
• West Virginia schools are working to support education savings accounts in their state. The legislation is a long shot for this year, but the effort has begun.
