AGC of California Announces 2015 Awards Finalists AGC OF CALIFORNIA 2015 AWARDS

AGC of California recently selected 18

projects as finalists in the 28th Annual Constructor Awards program. Winners will be announced at the AGC Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA, immediately following the new AGC Annual Confer- ence. AGC’s award program recognizes Cali-

fornia’s most innovative projects and tal- ented individuals. Areas of

recognition

include long-term service to AGC and the industry, safety, contribution to the com- munity, and collaboration. The prestigious annual event honors the “best of the best” in California construction. One winner will be named in each of six Constructor Awards categories. Also honored at the banquet are the

recipients of AGC of California’s 2015 Achievement Award, Partnering Awards of Excellence, and Construction Education Friend Award.

Award winners for 2015 are: Jim Carter, MCM Construction, Inc. – Contractor Achievement Award; Bob Cowan, Ma- rina Landscape, Inc. – Specialty Contrac- tor Achievement Award; and Teri Jackson, Pinnacle Surety & Insurance Services – Associate Achievement Award. The 2015 Construction Education Friend Award

winner is Dr. Francois Jacobs, Director of the Construction Management Program at California Baptist University. The 18 selected Constructor Awards fi-
