Decorate your Christmas tree the old-fashioned way: with hand-made decorations! Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Paper Chains
Grab scissors, tape, and a few sheets of colorful construc- tion paper, and get to work! Experiment with different-size links on your paper chains.
Popcorn Strands
Grab a needle and thread, pop some popcorn, and start stringing! You could even add dried cranberries to your strands.
Pom-pom Strands You’ll need a needle and thread for this one, too – plus plenty of colorful pom-poms from your local craft store! Ex- periment with pom-poms of all sizes and colors.
Beaded Candy Canes Pick up plenty of pipe cleaners and red and white beads
from the nearest craft store. String each pipe cleaner with beads, alternating between red and white. Fold down the ends of each pipe cleaner to keep the beads in place. Finally, bend each beaded pipe cleaner at the top to form a candy cane shape! (Hint: Cut the pipe cleaners in half or even smaller to create tiny candy canes!)
Grab some white paper and scissors and cut out your most creative snow- .
