The 2016 Google Code-in attracted 1,300 students from sixty-two countries.In 2017, after Collin visited the Google Head- quarters in Silicon Valley, he traveled east to Frederick Maryland to visit the Kungaba family, who were friends of his family. The Kungabas are members of Good News Presbyterian. Because the schools in the English-speaking provinces of Cameroon - lin’s father and sisters are still in Cameroon, a country torn by civil strife and lawlessness. Collin recently became a Christian after attending an inquirer’s class at Good News. In his membership interview he said that he learned “to rest completely on the Lord for salvation.” Collin will be applying to computer science programs at Carnegie Mellon, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Pennsylvania.


Good News Presbyterian has other members from Cameroon, as well as Kenya, South Africa, China, Taiwan, and Ghana.  



