grandparents will inherently become resurrected. The Legacy Continues by: A. Jay Kessinger IV, DC, ND, DABCI, DACBN
Some things in life can only be learned from experience. We really need to learn from others’ experience;
mistakes, for there’s no way that we can live long enough to make them all ourselves. In my 6 decades of life I’ve noted many fads, understandings and misunderstandings. I’ve also seen many truths that withstand the test of time. I’ve seen obvious, hidden, and initially unintended deceptive practices, as-well-as honest good intentioned actions that were either unknown or underappreciated.
One thing I’ve found that has always been and continues to be true is, “there is nothing new under the sun.” There is a right and a wrong/a good and a bad. It appears we all are a proportional combination of the two; however, the worst of all has always been and continues to be the apathetic among us. We need to be encouraged and encourage others to be mindful in our pursuit of self-less ‘right’ choices.

In the era of more modern times, our efforts to lose weight have turned toward purposely becoming aficted with intestinal worms, the use of cathartics, and the habitual practice of bulimia.

Currently, there is a plethora of lifestyle modication plans available with the end result of looking good and being healthy. Too often, I fear the former takes precedence in the mind’s eye of Jane and John Q Public health care consumer. We, as stewards of the professional health care team, need to be encouraged and encourage those we serve to allow healthy choices to become the bed-rock of our habitual lifestyles; thus no longer allowing ourselves to be dictated by the fads of the day.
