ince the late 1990s, the MDA has proudly offered EFDA training — helping dental team members grow their skills and enabling practices across Missouri to provide more efficient, higher- quality care. This program has always been a member-driven success story.

MDA membership dues have sustained and advanced EFDA education, including the recent creation of two new dental team courses (Basic Skills Review and Nitrous Monitoring) and the opening of our state- of-the-art, on-site clinical training center. Additionally, member dues are funding the ongoing work of establishing an Oral Pre- ventive Assistant EFDA in Missouri.

Beginning January 2026, the registration fees for EFDA courses will double for non- member dentists. This change reflects the true cost of providing high-quality training and recognizes the ongoing investment MDA members make to keep these opportu- nities accessible.

Simply put, membership makes this program possible — and it ensures dental teams continue to benefit from the resources, advocacy and professional support the MDA provides. Thank you for your loyalty as a member.

Renew your membership today to ensure your practice and team enjoy preferred ac- cess and pricing for EFDA training in 2026 and beyond. Membership is a commitment to strengthening our profession. Together, we are expanding opportunities for dental teams and improving care for Missourians. Please contact the MDA with any questions about the EFDA program. We hope to see your team members at an upcoming course! Find course dates at moefda.org.
