Pebble Bay Club Announces Post-Restaurant Fire Rebuild and 2026 Event Lineup The Pebble Bay Club Grill & Resort was born from a singular dream: to create an exceptional,


waterfront resort destination for Lake of the Ozarks locals and travelers. Following a highly suc- cessful debut, tragedy struck over Memorial Day weekend 2026. A devastating 8-alarm fire—com- bated by 80 firefighters, 13 trucks and a fire boat—initially damaged a quarter of the Pebble Bay Club Grill before reigniting 24 hours later to render the building a total loss.


But this is not where our story ends. Founders Joe and Michelle Sweeney vow to rebuild bigger,


better, and even nicer. While reconstruction to rebuild The Grill will take several months, Pebble Bay’s highly anticipated summer events and attractions will move forward uninterrupted.


“We made a commitment to serve this community,” say the Sweeneys. “As we execute our plan


to rebuild, we hope our neighbors, travelers, and patrons will stand with us in support.” Starting Saturday, June 6, Pebble Bay Club will officially reopen its food and beverage services


in an exciting, open-air “fair-and-festival” setting. Guests can enjoy delicious fare from food ser- vice vehicles and outdoor bars all summer and into the fall, when we hope to open the new Grill.


Important: All resort lodging at Pebble Bay and Old Kinderhook remains fully operational; undamaged. Events on our seasonal calendar embrace this gorgeous waterfront setting: Live music every


weekend all summer and fall; Brews & Blues Night, hosted by the LOZ Blues Society on Wednesday, June 10; Concert on the Water, featuring the Camdenton High School marching band; classic car and boat shows; plus the regional Harbor Hop. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to the waterfront as we build the future of Pebble Bay Club together.
