During the COVID-19 Pandemic As people By Kim Lorenz, Meydenbauer Bay Condominium
uring COVID-19 “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, a few of the owners at Meydenbauer Bay Condominium decided to start embellishing
the landscaping on our property. Our landscaping looked company that takes care of it. But we could see there were some areas that really needed upgrading.
were out walking by,
especially from neighboring condominiums, apartments and
homes, there were many compliments. More so, other condo association owners stopped often and wanted to know how we mobilized a few owners to take on this work.
The condo owner with the trailer hitch also had a small trailer so we would haul off the debris and dispose for $20 a load, and then while at that nursery, for another $20 he could haul back a load
of topsoil. We took great pride in soil preparation, fertilizing, and watering.
It all started as a small project, planting,
around 100 plants. This is a picture of the front of our building after the started doing some
work, not knowing it
corner of the property. to do while social distancing?
