As an attorney representing owner-controlled condominium associations and homeowner associations throughout Washington, Michael has been a strong leader on the LAC for the last 5 years. He was formerly regional counsel for Freddie Mac; represented various banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions. Michael is a lifelong Washington resident and a proud UW alumni (both undergrad and law school).


Michael is a fan of the Netflix series “The Crown” and the PBS show “Victoria,” and proud to admit it!


Mary B. Reiten, Esq. Terrell Marshall Daudt & Willie PLLC


Mary is an attorney who has been practicing community association law since 2006. She joined the LAC in 2013 in order to have the opportunity to lobby for or against legislation affecting community association living.


Mary loves canning and during the summer you will usually find her in the kitchen working on jam, jelly, or pickles.


Erik M. Rivera, CMCA, AMS, PCAM StrataNext, Inc.


Erik has been in the real estate industry his entire career. Working for some of the largest firms, and finally in 2014 founding his own, he says he found his life’s passion here. Erik currently has interests in multiple real estate capital groups and management firms specializing in common interest communities, to development and


management of student housing, apartments and hotels.


Erik believes the LAC “is imperative to be involved at every level of one’s passion. Serving the LAC, its members it represents, shaping legislation, and contributing back to an industry that I believe in–it was the right choice.”


Jeffrey Rodgers Northgate Plaza Condominium


Jeff’s professional background dates to 1995 when he graduated from Eastern Washington University. Since that time, he has worked in the Industrial Insurance field. Jeff has served as the Workers’ Compensation Program Manager for Gary Merlino Construction Company, Inc. since 2005. He joined the LAC as a Homeowner


Representative in 2006.


Jeff loves to travel, and travels whenever possible. His two favorite trips have been to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and Pamplona where he ran with the Bulls.


Julianne Rossiter, CMCA, AMS Homeowner


Julianne is a retired portfolio community manager, volunteering her time to the LAC since 2012. She joined the LAC to advocate for HOA’s owners and improve consumer protections and disclosures in State and Federal legislation regulating Common Interest Communities.


Julianne loves living in a condominium because it makes it easier to take off on trips in her teardrop trailer.


Jeremy Stilwell, Esq. Barker Martin P.S.


Jeremy served as the Assistant District Attorney, for the State of Oklahoma, from 1999 to 2001. Joining Barker Martin, P.S. in Seattle in 2001 where he continues to work for associations to this day.


Jeremy joined the LAC because he believes good governance benefits everyone involved with community associations. He was already involved in legislative work prior to joining the LAC and joining seemed like a natural move.


Jeremy loves the outdoors, especially: kayaking, hiking, and fly-fishing. Tom Tollifson T-Square Properties


Tom has owned T-Square Properties, a community management services company, since 1996. Prior to this he worked in management for several large corporations including Ford Motor Company and Automotive Resources International. As a new addition to the LAC, he gives a fresh voice to the industry, making an impact by proactively working with state lawmakers as they shape legislation.


Tom enjoys finishing and golf. He once played a round of golf with Former Governor Gary Locke just prior to him taking the Ambassador to China position. Yes, he let him win!


Kathryn Hedrick, Lobbyist H2 Government Relations


Kathryn has represented clients in Olympia as an independent consultant since 1999. Kathryn and her husband Jim started their political consulting firm in 2004 and represent a diverse group of clients.


Krystelle Purkey, Lobbyist H2 Government Relations


Krystelle has worked as a contract lobbyist since 2015 addressing housing, maritime, and healthcare issues. Prior to becoming a contract lobbyist, Krystelle was a Legislative Intern for the Washington Secretary of State’s Office.

Patrick owns a home on Lake Chelan which provides wonderful access to the great outdoors.


Patrick Rooney, CMCA, AMS, PCAM Providence Point Umbrella Assocation


Pat has been a community association manager for 30 years. He currently is the General Manager of Providence Point, which has 1008 units. With the goal of working on a uniform condominium action, Pat joined the LAC in 2015 and also services on CAI’s National Government & Public Affairs Committee.
