Roger Gaddis, CPA, CFP®, to serve a second term as a trustee on the board of the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System (OTRS), the state pension
system with more than $14 billion in assets managed for more than 157,000 active and retired teachers in Oklahoma. Gaddis, a financial consultant with Gaddis & Gaddis Wealth Management in Ada, Okla., has been a member for 26 years. He served as a chapter president for the OSCPA South Central Chapter and received the OSCPA’s Outstanding CPA in Financial Planning Award in 2014.

Te OSCPA Tulsa Chapter’s first class
of the Nonprofit Board Training Program (pictured above) was completed in January. Te class covered a wide range of topics including becoming a board member, conducting efficient meetings, analyzing and asking questions about financial statements and executive director expectations from a board. Te various topics were presented by a variety of speakers including several local CPAs and nonprofit executive directors. Te program received favorable feedback from participants and instructors.
