Dental Day Experience DR. CATI PYLE // This was my first time attending, and I had a great time! It was fun to see so many of my dental friends, talk with other leaders in the MDA (who all truly want to get to know more of the dentists that live close to them), and spend time explaining dental hot topics to my legisla- tures. If you have the opportunity, make it a point to go next year!
DR. PHIL BATSON // Dental Day provides a tremendous opportunity for dentists to speak with legislators about the important issues impacting our profession and our patients. The ability to make personal con- nections and educate our public officials is an invaluable opportunity that should not be missed or overlooked. I also enjoy the camaraderie with my colleagues along with welcoming first-time attendees to the event. This even is vital for our profession. I hope more dentists continue to participate.
DR. MICHAEL HOFFMANN // What I really enjoy is a chance to reconnect with dentists from around the state who I may only see once a year at the House of Delegates. Making in-person connections with our political leaders is important, but meeting with our fellow dentists and seeing issues we have in common is just as important.

DR. CHRISTOPHER KOLLATH // This was my first experience with Dental Day at the Capitol. It was awesome to be part of the legislative process! I closed the office and brought the whole team along. My team expressed they really enjoyed feeling their voices were being heard and loved the learning experience! The packets the MDA provided were very helpful and gave us the confidence to plead our case before our representatives! The representatives we spoke with were very receptive to our message and noted our presence definitely impacted their perspective on these topics. Overall, this was an impactful day and a step forward for the future of dentistry!
