DIRECTOR, ADVANCED EDUCATION IN GENERAL DENTISTRY (AEGD) PROGRAM CLINICAL ASSOCIATE/CLINICAL PROFESSOR, POSITION #38736: The UMKC School of Dentistry is seeking ap- plications for a full-time, 100 % FTE, benefit- eligible Clinical Associate/Clinical Professor to direct the AEGD program. The Program is a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CoDA)-approved residency with 6 first year residents and 2 second year residents. The Director is responsible for overall develop- ment and direction of the Program including setting the standards for growth in excel- lence while maintaining the core direction of broad advanced experience in general dentistry. The Director works with other faculty maintaining the standards required of CoDA for AEGD Programs and has responsi- bility for coordination of staff in the area and working cooperatively with the faculty and staff of the Dental Faculty Practice. Qualified candidates will hold a DDS or DMD degree with at least 10 years of practice experience and have completed an AEGD or General Practice Residency certificate program from an accredited program prior to teaching experience. Exceptional leadership skills to establish expectations for the program opera- tion, the academic and clinical programs, and interpersonal skills in staff management are required. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership for the program and is expected to be able to provide direct clinical supervision of residents and to provide clinical care in the faculty practice. CLINICAL ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, RESTORATIVE CLINICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT, POSITION #58421: The University of Missouri – Kansas City seeks to fill a 100% benefit eligible, full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Restorative Clinical Sciences Department. The department is responsible for pre-doctoral education, research, patient care, and service. Position will be responsible for the supervision of pre-doctoral students in the general pre-doctoral and pediatric dentistry clinics. CLINICAL ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, RESTORATIVE CLINICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT, GENERAL DENTIST, POSITION # 38775: The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry is seeking a general dentist faculty member to fill a position in the Restorative Clinical Science department. The position is a 100% benefit eligible, full time, non- tenure track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor. The faculty member will provide clinical instruction and oversight for pre-doctoral dental students. This includes instruction and evaluation of students in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontics, and non- surgical periodontics. The faculty member is expected to provide didactic and preclinical lab instruction, as assigned. A DDS/DMD or equivalent with eligibility for Missouri licensure is required. Advanced Education in General Dentistry/General Practice Residency training or equivalent is preferred. Qualified candidates may be eligible to participate in faculty practice one day per week.
