General Requirements Lamb Fuels generally recovers fuel that meets our fuel grading requirements. This means the fuel must meet certain color, clarity, water and sediment requirements to be able to be purchased. Contaminants such as water, oil, antifreeze, sediment, and other fluids can negatively affect the quality of the fuel resulting in our inability to purchase this fuel. Our Lamb Fuels employee will sample every storage container where your fuel is stored, and grade accordingly. Once this is completed we determine the grade of fuel for each storage container.

The purchase price offered varies due to minimum gallons (generally 300-500 gallons), quality of the fuel, frequency of pickups, contractual terms and the market you are in. Once a grade is determined, we then utilize a scale pricing structure which is based on the market your location is in. Utilizing a scale allows the customer to benefit when the market goes up, but also protects them from any downturns in the market.
