The K-It wire splice from KJ Ketterling, Twin Falls, Idaho, is a wire connector that does not need additional tools to be used. The


device, supported by western splice technolo- gy from Melni Technologies, takes one or two wires per side and twists them together around a conductive axis creating a solid connection between the wires. Its housing is filled with dielectric grease to maintain a waterproof envi- ronment for the connection to avoid corrosion in wet or damp locations. K-It Wire Connector can be wire to wire, braided to copper, or braid- ed to braided and can be used for wire gauges 18 to 22 American wire gauge.

Denver-based Rachio’s Smart Hose Timer connects to an outdoor faucet or a hose drip system and automatically


adjusts watering schedules based on chang- es in weather and seasons with a patented, integrated flow meter. The device is meant for yards of any size, particularly those that contain vegetable gardens, trees or shrubs, balcony plants and homes without in-ground irrigation. The timer can complement existing in-ground irrigation systems, giving homeowners more flexibility over their watering. It works with the free Rachio app and connects to Wi-Fi. Based on local weather tracking, the timer will auto- matically skip an individual watering based on real-time rain and not the entire day’s schedule.

The overlay includes specially engineered stabiliz- ers that allow it to read the environment and adapt to amplify the worker’s grip when work- ing in wet, dry, slick, abrasive or oily conditions. VersaTek delivers over 50% more abrasion re- sistance than other glove coatings like sandy nitrile or foam nitrile and consistently provides well above the minimum for the highest level six abrasion level protection. Ditch Witch, Perry, Oklahoma, released a new truck vacuum, the W12, which is the first offering in Ditch Witch’s new line of


Warlock vacuum excavators. The truck gives contractors a power take-off-driven vacuum excavator with increased capacity, versatility and performance to job sites with 1,200 gallons of fresh water and a 12-cubic-yard debris tank. With 5,000 cubic feet per minute and a 27b Hg of vacuum power, coupled with the extensive storage capacity, crews can take on bigger jobs and maximize time on the job site, which will reduce time spent dumping debris. The design and layout of the debris tank positioned between dual 600-gallon saddle tanks of fresh water creates a more stable truck, improving operator experience.

With full fuel and chemical compatibility and an operating range of -16 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, it can safely close breaches and minimize damage without the need for tools. Compress the silicone pad into the rupture, pull back on the handle and the seal is mechanically fastened in place, including on rough, unclean and splintered surfaces. It is available in four sizes to address leaks from 1/8 inch to 6 inches.

with pressure ratings of 232 to 250 psi. The line- up, known as the LD-3000 and LD-7000 Series, are designed for commercial mechanical con- struction and general utility service applica- tions. They are constructed of ductile iron with epoxy-coated valves. LD-7000 butterfly valves range in sizes from 14 inches to 60 inches with a pressure rating of 232 psi and are available with an option of aluminum bronze, nylon-coat- ed ductile iron and stainless-steel discs. LD- 3000 butterfly valves range in sizes 14 inches to 24 inches, with a pressure rating of 250 psi and are available with an option of aluminum bronze and stainless-steel discs.
