Boards, you are not alone! You’re a team — sometimes of rivals. But even Mike, Dustin, and Lucas managed to save  to come back together after any disagreements about how  Always make your decisions together, in a forum where all can hear one another simultaneously. It’s not just the law, it ensures that something great comes from each director’s contribution. Don’t use email to make decisions and/or to silo  nor is it legally correct.


Do share Board decisions with members. The Legislature increasingly demands transparency from us. For community associations created on or after July 1, 2018, members must be given a reasonable opportunity to comment at any association meeting, and members must be given access to any board and committee meetings except during executive session. But even if your community predates July 1, 2018,
