Bryt Koby Association Name: Kiley Court Condominium LLC Type of Community: Condo with HOA Your Board Position: President

How long have you lived in your community and why did you choose to live there? We purchased in August of 2015. November of 2015 the former President and member-at-large were door knocking to remind and encourage homeowners to attend the annual homeowner meeting. They told me there was going to be a vote for a new board member and to please come.

What inspired you to volunteer? This property is my home, if I am not willing to step up and help who will? I was already serving on the Community Health Center of Snohomish County Board at that time: giving back to my community is important to me.

What is your favorite accomplishment as a community volunteer? We are instituting a community work day where we come together to beautify the property and have a community BBQ after. This way people from different parts of the complex can meet each other.

Association Reserves is pleased to announce that Karen McDonald has earned CAI’s Reserve Specialist (RS #355) designation. The RS credential is a peer reviewed process, requiring significant, demonstrable knowledge and quality of work product. Karen is now in a select group across the nation of individuals carrying both the RS and PCAM designations. Congratulations Karen!

What challenges have you faced? Like many communities we had a problem with homeless people living in the wetlands by our property. Our property was having break-ins, car prowls, and mail stolen. We got the Sheriff to come out and started a neighborhood watch. This was one of many steps we are taking to build a strong, friendly, and helpful community.

What are your future goals? To work with my neighbors to build a strong community and strong reserves so that in the future when we need to do work on the complex there is no need for a special assessment.

If you could do or provide anything for your community what would it be? MORE PARKING!

When you are not volunteering what do you do for fun? I enjoy selling houses. It is the most fun I have had in my life. Assisting my clients in their search for a new home give me a great sense of satisfaction! I just want to make the world a better, happier place by helping one person, one family, at a time.
