What to do In Extreme Circumstances


Sometimes communities are not able to engage in encouraging seniors to partner with various health and wellness resources and are faced with the heartbreaking and  who could already be at risk due to dementia. More drastic actions* could include:  Calling Adult Protective Services.  Asking the local police for a wellness check.


 Consider asking for a guardianship.


These actions will at least establish a public record in case there is a need for the courts to get involved.
