Dixie Reger was a true performer from jumping cars, to trick riding, to roping calves, running barrels or riding broncs to working as a rodeo clown. During her time with the GRA she stayed just as diverse as she had been growing up. She served on the GRA board for five years as the contract act representative and the last year she was the Vice President. Photo courtesy Dixie Reger Mosley
Dixie Reger said back when she was growing up you had to be versatile to get by, but her favorite event in rodeo was roping calves. Photo courtesy Dixie Reger Mosley
Dixie Reger’s father, Monte, got the family involved in the entertainment business when he came across a Longhorn/Brahman cross steer that stood 8’6” and had curvy horns. Monte would come riding in the arena atop Bobby the Bull just as if he were riding a horse. Photo courtesy Dixie Reger Mosley
