Ahead of the Pack
The Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic (the Pacific Northwest’s largest cycling event) took place July 15 and 16 with over 8,000 riders. Members of the WSCA Sports Council volunteered at two different stations during both days of the event, providing complimentary chiropractic care to the athletes.
Over a dozen volunteers staffed the Longview and Centralia rest stops; there were so many riders the lines were backing up! Hundreds of participants were adjusted throughout the day, making the STP ride a major success.
STP is just one of many events the Sports Council works at throughout the year, providing top-notch care. The WSCA Sports Council is made up of volunteer DCs who work diligently to promote chiropractic in the sports & athletic community here in Washington. You can learn more about their work and join by visiting
