Michael Lenarz, DC


is a 1987 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic and specializes in Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic—a technique designed to balance the spine and promote health with precise and gentle adjusting. He is certified at the Advanced Instructor Level.


Dr. Lenarz is the founder of the Seattle Upper Cervical Research Institute, and Health First Chiropractic, with four offices throughout Washington State. He also authored The Chiropractic Way, (Bantam Books, 2003), the first introductory book about chiropractic, produced by a major publisher, in the history of chiropractic. He practices at Health First Chiropractic, in both Seattle and Sedro-Woolley, WA. He co-wrote the article “Chiropractic Advertising: Are You Throwing Good Money After Bad?” along with Nicole Rae Tilson, LMT, in this issue.


Robert Perkes, DC is a WSCA Board member and owner of Core Concepts, an integrated healthcare office with multiple locations and providers. He lives in West


Richland, WA with his wife of 18 years and four clones/sons. He is a University of Western States graduate. Dr. Perkes brings us another edition of “The Water Cooler: Tips for New DCs.”


Kim Sandher, Attorney


focuses her practice on Bankruptcy, Commercial & Residential Real Estate, and Business Law. Kim has filed hundreds of bankruptcy cases, and remains passionate about helping disadvantaged individuals through volunteering and local neighborhood legal clinics. She is actively involved in both state and national bar associations, and holds Avvo’s Clients’ Choice Award for 2017, along with a 10/10 rating with Avvo’s online rating system. Kim teams up with colleague Christopher Thayer of Pivotal Law Group, PLLC in this issue.

It is the policy of the WSCA to produce publications for the following purposes: to keep the membership informed on issues of concern and current news; to improve communication and cooperation between members of the profession, and between the profession and the WSCA; to promote and advance the activities, goals and objectives of the WSCA; to provide a forum for input and exchange regarding the direction of healthcare and the chiropractic profession; and to provide a venue for promotion of the WSCA’s corporate membership while providing financial support to the WSCA.
