In retrospect, I would probably do a few things a bit differently: spending more time on my initial temporaries, cementing the crowns in a more symmetrical sequence, etc. However, for my very first complex anterior case I was quite satisfied with the results. Te process still took several weeks and was more aggressive than other alternatives, but the patient got results much faster than if we had gone with option #1 (which was my initial preference) and he was very happy with those results.


Tis early in my career I still have a lot to learn but this case provided some big steps in the right direction -- an opportunity to explore viable treatment options in-depth, to involve my staff, my lab and my patient in the decision process, to make on-the-spot judgment calls and minor modifications as necessary, and to bring joy and satisfaction to my patient (and to myself) in the end.
