Both speakers offered techniques and maintenance tips for converting to and managing more drought tolerant landscapes. A big eye-opener to some may have been the idea that drought tolerant doesn’t have to mean sticks and cactus because California has a very large pallet of native options that work better with our climate. Each member of the audience walked away with a hardy list of water use efficient plants and a list to links to the available rebates offered by each water distract to take advantage of.
