Living in Chicagoland during the winter can make spring seem far away. The experience of the bright colors and new life that spring breathes into us each year can be breathtaking and trees are a main contributor to that. One of the key indicators each year that spring has arrived is the display of new buds and green leaves on our trees.


Tree species grown in our urban forest enrich and beautify our surroundings so much that it often leaves people asking, “What can I do to protect my trees so they last for many years?”
