the next logical step for dewormer resistance, but those with bad de- wormer resistance will have to use a three-dewormer combination. Use the most potent dewormers listed above.

There is no science for selecting which dewormer to use in two- dewormer combinations. Sometimes you can mix a poor doing de- wormer with a moderately effective one and have a very effective combination. Just spin the roulette wheel. The dewormers must be given at the full dose at the same time. Can you mix dewormers? The Food and Drug Administration says no. Cydectin® is organic (that is why it smells) and will not mix with Prohibit® or Valbazen®, which are water soluble, although some have experimented with mixing the latter two. Be sure and use the longest withdrawal of the dewormers being used. If you do not use selective deworming, you will develop resist- ance to all three dewormers and the next step, as the New Zealand Parasitologist William Pomroy said, is you go out of business. If you need combinations dewormers, use them wisely and only deworm those that need it so that you can be part of the goat world longer.
