Alan Price Young, Esq., CCAL Young & Haros, LLC

The Robert H. Wise, Sr. President's Award for Lifetime Achievement was established in 1996 to honor former chapter president Robert Wise, principal and owner of Wise Management Company and who was an active member of this chapter for many years. The award is given out each year by the President of the Chapter’s Board of Directors to a chapter member who has shown outstanding service and dedication to the chapter, and to recognize a lifetime of achievement and contributions to the chapter.

2020 Chapter President Gregory D. Malaska, Esq. selected Alan Price Young as the recipient of the Robert Wise, Sr., President ’s Award for Lifetime Achievement. In making his choice, Mr. Malaska said, “Alan Price Young began his legal career in 1978 in Monroe County and has spent the last 42 years representing common interest communities in the Poconos and eastern Pennsylvania.

“Alan has been active with CAI since its inception and was a charter member of the former Pocono Mountains Chapter, which later merged with the Mid-Atlantic Chapter to form what is now known as the Pennsylvania & Delaware Valley Chapter.

“He was instrumental in the drafting and negotiations that led to the passage of the Uniform Planned Community Act in 1996. Since that time, he has helped dozens of planned communities, both large and small, navigate its mandates. He has lectured may times on HOA issues and is a member of the College of Community Association Lawyers.

“He has been a true asset to CAI and is well deserving of the 2020 Robert H. Wise, Sr. President’s Award for Lifetime Achievement.”
