Welcome to The QA. In each issue of Community Assets, we’ll introduce you to one of our passionate volunteers.

QA: What’s your name, current position / title, and current organization?

RC: Robyn Colajezzi, Director of Marketing, SERVPRO of Upper Bucks, Germantown, Pennypack / Bustleton

QA: How long have you been with your current organization? RC: Three years.

THE QA QA: On which CAI committee do you currently volunteer?

RC: I’m the Chairwoman of the Content & Communications Committee. QA: How long have you been a CAI member? RC: A little over a year.

QA: What’s something that someone might be surprised to learn about you?

RC: In 2020, I ran for State House Representative in my Upper Bucks County district. I didn’t win but achieved the most votes of any challenger in 50+ years.

QA: What’s your favorite part of volunteering for CAI?

RC: The amazing inspiration that I feel from fellow members and volunteers, many I now consider friends. There’s a level of excitement in all that CAI plans and being a part of it opens up new ideas to look to in my business.

QA: What advice would you offer to a young professional just starting out?

RC: Be genuine, authentic, sincere... and mean it. You can’t just provide lip service. If you are committed to a committee, group, or organization, you need to genuinely want to be there and want to make an impact. If you are doing it because you “have to,” you will not only fail, you will be miserable. If you sincerely care about what you’re doing, it won’t be work, it will be an extension of who you are!

QA: What is your idea of perfect happiness?

RC: This might be a selfish, or somewhat spiritual, answer but it’s true. Perfect happiness is when I am happy with myself. That doesn’t mean because I accomplished some great goals, broke a record, finished a job early, won an award... I can be perfectly happy with nothing but the earth beneath my feet and the sun on my face. Perfect happiness is when I really don’t care what anyone else thinks or says, rather when I am happy doing, or not doing, what I want at that exact moment to make me happy. It took me a long time to learn this, but the only relationship that really matters is between me and me.

QA: What is your greatest extravagance?

RC: Food. I do not mind spending a small fortune on a dinner out for exceptional cuisine.
