MEMBER PERKS

Gabby Grimes | Manager, Membership & Marketing gabby@cai-padelval.org

Good riddance, 2020, and welcome to 2021! Although the chapter finished the year strong, we certainly had our share of challenges. I know each of you did as well. I am looking forward to what we have in store for 2021.

Our membership numbers took a bit of a hit during 2020, which is understandable given the pandemic and challenges we all faced. Despite that, we had a number of our existing members step up to help us recruit new members. I’d like to mention just a few of them now.

STERLING NATIONAL BANK Our friends Mark Reid and Chelsea Donnigan, part of the team at Sterling National Bank stepped up in a big way by becoming our exclusive Recruiter Rewards Sponsor for 2020. As part of that sponsorship, Mark and Chelsea recorded videos each month to welcome new members and interview that month’s top recruiter. These videos have been entertaining and fun and if you haven’t had a chance to view them yet, you should visit our Recruiter Rewards page on the website (www.cai-padelval.org/join/ recruiter-rewards) or on our YouTube channel. If this whole banking thing doesn’t work out for them, Mark and Chelsea could definitely star in their own sitcom!

I am thrilled to announce that Sterling National Bank has signed on, again, as our exclusive Recruiter Rewards sponsor for 2021. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Sterling National Bank and grateful for their strong support!

SUZANNE MARK Not only did Suzanne Mark, a Homeowner Leader member from Saw Creek Estates Community Association, serve as the Secretary of the chapter’s Board of Directors in 2020, she was an all-star new member recruiter. Suzanne won $500 as our Recruiter-of-the-Year in our Recruiter Rewards Contest sponsored by Sterling National Bank. Thank you for your stellar efforts and your belief in and commitment to CAI, Suzanne!

THREE JOIN THE RECRUITER CLUB The Recruiter Club is a program to recognize members who recruit colleagues and professionals to join CAI. In addition, the Recruiter Club rewards members who achieve progressively higher levels of new member recruitment. Recruiters also receive national and chapter recognition for recruitment milestones.

Three members joined our Recruiter Club in 2020 at the Distinguished Level. Members at the Distinguished Level have recruited between 25-49 new members to join the Pennsylvania & Delaware Valley Chapter of Community Associations Institute during their time as CAI members.
