2021 NPM CONVENTION Happy New Year!

Wishing you the best as we welcome 2021 and say a heartfelt GOODBYE to 2020! In the next 34 pages you will find some great information about three of our upcoming programs: Te Winter Colloquium, our premiere Skill Builders and our Annual Convention. We also invited some of our presenters to reflect on the importance of music in sharing Christ to a broken world, and you will hear their “Voices” in the purple boxes interspersed throughout this brochure.

Tis past year was certainly filled with surprises. After the positive reception to our virtual convention in July, NPM is thrilled to announce that our Convention in New Orleans is planned as a hybrid event, offering both virtual and on-site options. No matter how you attend, either in the Marriott ballroom or in your living room, you will have access to all the same content and events, as well as lots of opportunities to interact with fellow attendees no matter where they may be.

New Orleans has been on our list of desired convention sites for many years. We know that this city, with strong roots to our Catholic Church, rich in musical heritage and culture as well as filled with great food and drink, will provide a wonderful backdrop to our event. What better city could there be to spend time focusing on the Eucharist and feeding stories! Our

schedule is filled with exciting sessions sure to enhance your role as a pastoral musician. I hope you enjoy reading about the sessions and the incredible presenters who will be with us.

Registration opens at 9:00am ET on February 1. Know that your registration type is easily transferrable, so if you choose to register as a virtual participant but later determine that you would prefer to join us on-site, we can make that change until July 1, 2021. Te on-site convention will take place at the Marriott, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.

I pray for good health and blessings on each of you and your ministry as we continue to meet the challenges of the world and look forward to joining together to celebrate Christ: Broken, Shared, Sent.

Berta Sabrio NPM Associate Director
