LITURGY, LIFE, AND DISCIPLESHIP


Our annual Colloquium has always been a time to learn and pray together; a pandemic will not interrupt this tradition. In order to conduct a virtual gathering, we have teamed up with our industry partners at Liturgy Training Publications. They have been hosting interactive and engaging online training for over six years and have worked with NPM to develop courses that dive deeper into liturgical training and formation.


This Winter Colloquium is offered in conjunction with Track Three of


The Essentials of Catholic Liturgy which is designed especially for directors of music ministry. The aim of the third track, “Liturgy, Life and Discipleship,” is to go beyond the fundamentals of liturgical preparation and execution to explore the liturgical act as it relates to the modern world and the minister’s lived experience.


Our Colloquium topics will emphasize the Eucharistic liturgy as the source and summit of Christian life by surveying topics such as, evangelization, spirituality, social justice, and mystagogy. Directors of music ministry with a solid foundation in the liturgy will appreciate this in-depth exploration of liturgical praxis.

This annual winter conference is an important mid-year educational opportunity, as well as a chance to reconnect socially.
