MEMBER SNAPSHOT IF YOU WEREN’T IN BANKING, WHAT

WOULD YOU BE DOING AND WHY? Football and drums are currently my two hobbies. (the reasons why): Athletics, speci cally football is so much more than the general fan understands. It teaches teamwork, accountability, respect and love. We teach those lessons long before we talk about skills on the  eld, schemes or the things most fans think we stress to our players. I use the lessons I learned from football frequently, especially when times are challenging.

Board Chairman President/CEO First Na onal Bank in Frankfort

HOW ARE YOU AND/OR YOUR BANK INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY? We have a great team at FNB. Everyone is involved with at least one board in our communities. School board, Girl Scouts, PEO, local foundations, church organizations, adult care Home to name a few. This is in addition to dollars donated, presenting at schools on various topics, delivering Meals on Wheels AND being the local popcorn distribution center on Fridays! Our lobby is also  lled with clothing the school sells to fund scholarship programs.

WHAT IS THE FUTURE FOR COMMUNITY BANKING?

Community banking will survive because of the individuals involved in it. We are just like the entrepreneurs we loan money to every day. I believe our brand of banking will continue to  nd products and solutions to the problems regulations and markets present to us. 
